What Will You Get Out of This Class?

Instinctive meditation means it’s natural and our bodies are wired to do it easily and efficiently. All we need to do is to set up the right conditions and our bodies will eagerly cooperate. Learn the skill set needed to meditate on your own even if you have a racing mind and little spare time. Come to one or all of the sessions in this drop-in 12-week series hosted through LIVE interactive Zoom sessions. Each week you will learn a new skill or two, practice them in short spurts and then, experience a guided meditation.

Do I need to have experience?

Before attending any drop-in classes, we strongly suggest that you watch the recording of the April 22 introductory class (below) if you were unable to attend the live event. This class covers some important concepts around the instinctive approach to meditation and help you develop your meditation skillset during the series.

Suggested Prerequisite:

What Are People Saying?

“As a therapist who often utilizes mindfulness with clients, I find Berni’s approach to be especially helpful in working with people who struggle with the practice. Her approach uses a heavy dose of science and realistic expectations to craft a mindfulness practice that is both effective and easily accessible.”
– Erin Shadle, LCSW, Director, Behavioral Sleep Solutions, Cognitive -Behavioral Therapy Center of WNC, P.A.

“In only two weeks, meditation has changed my life. It has given me the courage and confidence I needed to cope with my busy schedule with less stress, better grades, and more peace of mind.”
– Lily Seymour, Student, Scranton Preparatory School, Scranton, PA

“I truly enjoyed spending the day with Berni learning her unique practice of meditation! I have been able to set aside a few moments each day to simply be in my body, enjoy each sensation, and gain new insights! Through her relaxed, light-hearted approach, I have shifted my perception of what it is to meditate and have experienced greater joy in life’s simple moments and been able to handle the difficult ones with a little more ease!”
– Amanda C.

“I learned how to bring meditation into my classroom one minute at a time. My students’ reaction was so positive. I could see and feel the difference this made immediately. Now, this “daily minute” opens and closes our time together and they never let me forget!”
– Marny Hyde, Science Teacher, Tunkhannock Middle School, Tunkhannock, PA

“These teachings have opened the door to the magic of meditation for me, impacting my daily life, my soul, and my career. I am forever grateful for what Berni has shared with me.”

“Berni’s meditation has blown away all other styles of meditation I have tried in the last 20 years! My life now is so much more vibrant AND I now know how to truly rest. Her coaching has so many positive effects—one unexpected one is that my real estate biz is flourishing. Thank you, Berni!”
-Trish Brown, Asheville NC
